Small island approximately neighborhood 200m. One, Sarasvati of the Seven Deities of Good Luck is worshiped, and amakusamitsubatsutsuji grows wild in top of island.
Ichnolite of dinosaur is discovered for the first time in Kyushu at the shore of this island in May, 1997, and replica is displayed as footprint discovery place.
The goods are displayed in cretaceous museum.
Size of footprint seems to be thing of carnivorous dinosaur about about 5m at 38cm. We can confirm three footprints which the ground had among four fingers. When dinosaur walked over mud of the bank of river about 98 million years ago, this was left.
