As part of town planning by octopus, we name Ariake section of Route 324 "Amakusa Ariake octopus way" on July 17, 2005.
Dried dako of humorous figure which opened eight feet in summer to get a lot of octopus in Amakusa is frequent in the shore along way, and it is summer feature of Amakusa.
In restaurant and guest house association along way, we provide octopus dishes (octopus bowl, octopus 8 dishes) using ground dako and sell product octopus-related at retail store.
Huge octopus monument of symbol welcomes everybody at the shore before Ripple land of the way center.
