[Ariake octopus lay priest]
"Art object of huge octopus" finished in the shore before Ripple land on October 18, 2005.
We push forward "town planning by octopus" led by commercial and industrial meeting in Ariake-cho from 2004.
As the part, we produce monument of huge octopus.
Producer is Hideya Matsunaga of shipbuilding industry "aquamarine matsunaga" of Uramachi, Gose.
We enter foot of octopus and can take a picture and become popular as tourist attraction.

In addition, beside "Ariake octopus lay priest", there is octopus rest-in-peace pagoda "prayer dako" completed on August 8, 2007.
Ariakecho business and industry fair played a key role with requests such as thanks memorial service to octopus which came big which took part of local local promotion as "the town of octopus Ariake", big catch, sea disaster accident prevention and was produced with the cooperation of hometown. The body, base is made with red granite and is 2.5m in width, 2.3m in height 1.3m in depth.
