Under the pretense of the selection gold mining-related temple, it is famous temple with a venerable history of Soto sect that Prince chief administrator Shigenari Suzuki receives the name of family to inherit the shogunate light for three generations in 1624 (Kanei 19), and opened. Foundation is 1637. Sand of 88 new Shikoku was enshrined in the precincts, and here became new Shikoku 88 hallowed ground. We can visit all 88 bodies in around 40 minutes while enjoying forest bathing.

Cedar, willow oak, velvet shank, Furuki group which vegetate on the north side slope of the gold standard temple precincts of fir tree. Is appointed as green tract of land environmental conservation area based on prefectural Natural Environment Protection Act.
