Ryugatake located at the south end of Kamijima, Amakusa is 470m above sea level, and, in the neighborhood of mountaintop, gentle slope opens out, and, in the eastern part and the southern part, it is at cliff. The marine bioluminescence sea, Toishima, islands, the distance of Goshoura are Shishijima, views of the Amakusa best that they can overlook to Nagashima under eyes from the mountaintop. Facilities of myui astronomical observatory, campground, athletic open space are substantial on the mountaintop.
