The whole large beach is in gulf and wave is calm and recommends to families as it is shallow for a good distance from the shore (in sea bathing season, we install beach fence). In addition, we perform the shore environment maintenance that we made use of nature in and can enjoy not only sea bathing but also marine sports such as board sailing.
In addition, what held triathlon of competition distance 51.5km becoming official competition of the Olympics as "Amakusa international triathlon meeting" first in Japan in 1985 is built to monument of the Japan birthplace in this beach.
