4,500 azaleas are met! Azalea festival is held.

 Azalea Festival is started on Friday, May 3, 2013 of Golden Week in "the T-cloth" of Tororo, Reihoku-machi for two days until Saturday on 4th.
 "T-cloth" located in the boundary of Reihoku-machi and Amakusamachi, Amakusa-shi is the highest peak (538.35m) of Amakusa Shimoshima and can expect Unzen Mt. Fugen and the East China Sea in 360 degrees large panorama from the mountaintop.
 In addition, please enjoy superb view of Nature in reference to pelorus as pelorus of Sue board (azurejo) with Amakusa clay for chinaware as materials is installed in the mountaintop.
On the day, on 3rd, display spot sale of local special product is carried out after Shinto ritual of opening of the mountaineering season to pray for one-year security. 
Would you like to spend holiday of May in T-cloth of Amakusa, Reihoku which is full of the fresh green?
In each pottery of Reihoku-machi and Amakusamachi, Amakusa-shi of the Amakusa West Coast, "visiting spring potteries is held, too".
