In the Sakitsu church which is one of the constitution assets, "tatami mat substitute" that is rare nationwide is performed while attention raises "church group of Nagasaki and Christianity-related inheritances" toward world heritage registration!
Member shop of "tatami-maker dojo studio" worked on the spread of domestic tatami mats state (representative: mirror Yoshiaki Sagae-shi, Yamagata) and Tatamiya of hometown Amakusa gather, and it is hand-sewn, and this constructs tatami mat substitute.
Of on-site tatami mat which became very rare now is hand-sewn. Please see handwork of craftsman worth seeing!
