On January 20, naked festival is held every year in Yasaka-jinja Shrine of Kotsufukae, Reihoku-machi, Amakusa (koutsufukae).
When epidemics were popular among Kotsufukae districts about 400 years ago, it is said to opening that we let Buddhist monk makes ablutions in the sea, and illness disperse.
