As fossil class and actual money class, a great variety of things are known, and, as for the shellfish (mollusk) which appeared in Cambrian period in the Paleozoic era, there is some having advanced ashore. In addition, Cephalopoda such as octopus or squid are included in categorical mollusk, too. Fossil such as roll-shell and bivalve, ammonite is found in stratum which deposited from Amakusa in the Mesozoic (the dinosaur era) and new generation, and much shellfish inhabits the sea of current Amakusa. This temporary exhibition performs display that displays domestic and foreign fossil classes and actual money classes, and featured the theme of "shellfish" let alone Amakusa.
