It is said that folk song "Ushibuka Haiya joint" coming to Amakusa-shi Ushibuka district for a long time was born in Minato, Ushibuka full in sail late in the Edo era. This song spread out in the whole country as song of drinking bout from Minato to Minato by sailors. Ushibuka Haiya gnarl is conveying charm as song of the source of Haiya clause system folk song who sings in all over the country of the whole country, and is inherited now. We think that it is necessary for song, dance to enslave our heart to try for the spread, preservation as tradition entertainment. Therefore we leave for the next generation as traditional culture of our country and will hold "Ushibuka Haiya clause national convention" to succeed, and to develop.
